Best new iOS and Android games of the week: June 11
|

Want to know what's worth playing on your iOS or Android device this week? You've come to the right place.

Each and every week we round up five of the best games from the past seven days. In truth, there's only one knock-out game to play this week, and we suspect that everyone else has held off because of its presence.

Have you been playing anything different this week? Let us know in the comments below.

Monument Valley 2
By ustwo - buy on iOS

You've probably heard a bit about Monument Valley 2 by now. It's rather special. Like the original, it's ostensibly about rotating bits of fantastical M.C. Escher-inspired architecture to enable your little character to progress. But there's so much more to it.

Super Nano Jumpers
Xigma Games - download on iOS

This "hard as nails retro platformer" (the developer's words, not ours) is about a little man with excellent jumping skills running around doing jumps through a series of tricky bite-sized levels. So yeah, precisely what the developer said really.

Mr. Mustachio 2
By Shobhit Samaria - download on iOS

Part puzzler, part brain training exercise, Mr. Mustachio 2 is a game all about maths. If you're not very good with numbers, best give it a miss. Otherwise, this is pretty darned slick.

GX Monsters
By FunGeneration - download on iOS / download on Android

It might look a bit like a grungier version of last week's SUP Multiplayer Racing, but GX Monsters is a side-on multiplayer racer with more of an in-depth Trials feel to it.

Yeah Bunny
By Adrian Zarzycki - download on iOS

A super-cute one-button platformer starring an ickle bunny. Awwww. There are more than 50 levels, a bunch of boss fights, and carrots. Lots of carrots.

Jon Mundy

Jon is a consummate expert in adventure, action, and sports games. Which is just as well, as in real life he's timid, lazy, and unfit. It's amazing how these things even themselves out.
