With Christmas coming up we're about to see an influx of 'family fun' games, and Sensible Object's first game, Beasts of Balance is hitting UK stores tomorrow after a wildly successful US launch last week.

The concept is actually really neat as it mixes tabletop with digital play. By use of innovative augmented reality and a selection of smart objects, you'll merge the physical and digital as you stack the pieces together. Check out the advert below – it makes the object of the game pretty clear. Think Buckaroo feat Jenga and you're on the right path.

Beasts of Balance will be available November 24th in John Lewis, Harrods, and on the official website for £69. The app will be free to download through Google Play or the Apple/Amazon App Stores.
