Beamdog submits Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition to Apple for approval

Beamdog creative director Trent Ostler has confirmed in a tweet that his firm has submitted Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition to Apple for approval, meaning this rejigged version of the classic PC RPG should be with us before the year is out.

As well as Baldur's Gate II, Beamdog has submitted a hefty patch for the original Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. Here, Beamdog completely overhauls the touch input, as well as enables players to port their character from the first game into the second.

We'll let you know as soon as we hear when Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition is set to go live on the App Store. It doesn't look like you've got too much longer to wait, though, to see if Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition is any cop.
