Papa Sangre creator Somethin' Else launches a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming audio undead shooter Audio Defence: Zombie Arena

Are you sick of seeing zombies everywhere?

Well, Somethin' Else has the salve for your festering wound in the shape of Audio Defence: Zombie Arena.

It uses the same tech as the firm's Gold Award-winning supernatural audio drama Papa Sangre II, and sees you gunning down waves of zombies that only exist in your ears.

There also appears to be a banjo with which you can smash their brains in. Gets my vote on that alone.

Crowded house

Audio Defence: Zombie Arena is about to go into beta, so Somethin' Else has started a crowdfunding campaign for it over on Kickstarter.

Somethin' Else is not only doing this to help it finish off the game, but also to prove there's a market for the sort of games it's making.

Audio Defence: Zombie Arena boasts the same stand-and-turn mechanic as Papa Sangre II, so, yes, you're twisting around in your living room shooting zombies in the mush.

If that sounds like the sort of thing you want to do in your spare time, then head on over to the Audio Defence: Zombie Arena Kickstarter page and throw some money in Somethin' Else's direction.

We will, of course, keep you posted on the progress of this particular crowdfunding campaign, and let you know when / if the game is going to surface on them mobiles and tablets.
