Assassin's Creed Memories officially announced, heading to iOS this Summer

Spotted first on the Uplay social gaming network, the free-to-play card battling game Assassin's Creed Memories has been officially announced for iOS.

The game has already soft launched in limited territories, but will not release to the general public until later this summer.

Assassin's Creed Memories is framed as a game for the fictional Abstergo Entertainment's new, mobile version of the Animus, the virtual reality machine used in the Assassin's Creed franchise.

Players will time travel through Colonial America to Renaissance Italy and beyond, recruiting skilled allies to their customizable guild of assassins and battling it out with rival groups, in a blend of tactical card battling and RPG.

Next to the game's single-player campaign is a multiplayer mode, which can accommodate battles as large as 20 vs. 20 players.

Assassin's Creed Memories will launch worldwide this summer, on an unspecified date. For now, you can view some early screens on the App Store.
