Digital fantasy boardgame Armello is slated for iPad later this year

In a tweet yesterday, the developer confirmed that we can expect an iPad release this year, while an Android version will come in 2017.

Choosing from an unique array of animal warriors, you travel the map, performing missions for royalty, and facing other players and AI-controlled enemies in dice-based combat.

A deck-building element lets you adapt your play style with unique items, spells, and back-stabbing feats of trickery in your quest to control the map.
