Out at midnight - Ancient Battle: Hannibal enjoys the strategic slaughter of Rome's nemesis
Bring out the elephants
Hunted Cow's next installment in its strategy series Ancient Battle: Hannibal is storming over the release day hills tonight.
Hannibal is considered one of history's greatest military commanders, and certainly Rome's biggest nemesis.
The challenge, then, is for you to command his armies as well as he did during the second Punic War between Carthage and Rome.
To answer some important questions: yes, you get to command Hannibal's elephants; and yes, you can play on both sides of all battles (except tutorials).
You'll fight across the four geographical regions of Italy, Spain, Sicily, and Africa. However, the Spain and Africa campaigns are aren't included in the 69p / 99c price, but are available as IAPs.
Hannibal is built on a "major upgrade" to the system that the Bronze Award-winning Ancient Battle: Rome was built on. It has new features to make your strategic opportunities richer.
Hunted Cow mentions that new "multi-level hills" let you make great use of higher ground and the naturally-formed terrestrial cover.
Ancient Battle: Hannibal will be available to purchase for 69p / 99c on the UK and US App Stores at midnight.
