Released back in 2015, the hex-based A Day In The Woods transformed the tale of Red Riding Hood into a colorful and challenging puzzle game. Now you can check the puzzler for free, in its first sale of the year.
While literature's Red Riding Hood only had to face a single wolf. A Day In The Woods pits your heroine against spiders, bears, and other woodland dangers. Each level is a hex grid of potential paths, barriers, and threats, presenting you with a test of careful movement as you swap tiles to collect flowers, distract bears with beehives, and safely cross the board.
The game's 60 stages are all presented in a detailed tabletop aesthetic with painted backdrops and wooden pieces, imbuing A Day In The Woods with its charming atmosphere.
