The first two instalments in Agharta Studio's iOS adventure game series
1112 have been massively discounted to celebrate the release of
1112 episode 3.
Episode 01 managed to pick up a Silver Award here at
Pocket Gamer on review, and now costs nothing. Yes, it’s free on both iPhone and on iPad (in HD form).
Episode 02 didn’t fare quite as well, with
Pocket Gamer alumnus Tracy criticising its "underdeveloped story". You can see for yourself if he was right on either iPhone or iPad by shelling out a miniscule 69p / 99c. That’s a whopping saving, considering the games would have set you back £5.49 / $7.99 on iPad and £2.99 / $4.99 on iPhone only yesterday.
In all three episodes of the
1112 story, you play anxious antique seller Louis Everett, whose quiet New Jersey existence is turned upside down by mysterious dreams and continuous migraines.
If you fancy discovering the reasons behind Louis's mysteries, pick up the heavily discounted
episodes 01 and
02 now or the brand-new
episode 03 for £2.99/$4.99 on iPhone and £5.49/$7.99 on iPad.
Look out for our review of
1112 episode 03, too, which should be up on the site soon.

Episode 2 improves in retrospect once you've played Episode 3. Not because Ep 3 is bad -- I'd say that it's a lot better than one and and two (not to mention much longer). But once you see where the game is going it's easier to appreciate how well Ep. 2 works to set things up.
As a series, this is one of my favorite recent games on any platform.
