Out at midnight: Catch colourful raindrops in minimalist arcade game '... and then it rained'
Pitter patter
Megagon Industries's first game ... and then it rained uses the soothing sounds of rain to provide a meditative experience.
It starts with a single raindrop that falls from the top of the screen. Your mission is to catch it with the pillar along the bottom of the screen that matches its colour.
Once you've got that down, ... and then it rained gradually ups the challenge. But its not Megagon's intention to stress you out.
As more raindrops of different colours are added for you to catch through switching the pillars, you should become in tune with the game.
It's about achieving flow and rhythm, while creating an elegant tune in a minimalist world of bold shapes and colour.
If you, like I, enjoy the sound of rain and think that ... and then it rained sounds delightful, you'll be able to pick it up from the UK and US App Stores from midnight for £1.49 / $1.99.
