Kairosoft has finally brought its pyramid-building management game The Pyraplex to iOS.

The Bronze Award-winning game was originally released on Android back in 2012. So, while it hasn't taken as long to build a real pyramid (between 20 to 30 years), it has taken a little while.

If you're not familiar, The Pyraplex tasks you with building a "colossal new wonder of the world". Yes, a giant pyramid.

You have to quarry the necessary stones while trying to keep your civilisation ticking. This involves getting income from visitors and trading with, bizarrely, Aztecs and Romans.

You'll also be visited by the Pyramid Association, who visit to make sure you're keeping on track with progress.

In our review of the Android version, we said "The Pyraplex is typically assured stuff from Kairosoft, but it shares a little too many similarities with past offerings."

You can purchase The Pyraplex on the App Store [buy] for £2.99 / $4.99 right now. It's still available on Google Play [buy] at the same price.
