Having worked on wordy iOS success Crobble, Shane McCafferty is back with another mobile title, and this time it's a shmup.

Starseed pits your lone ship against a fleet of enemies and a massive spinning dreadnought that must be destroyed before progressing to the next area.

Taking its initial inspiration from classic shooter Uridium, Starseed blends old-skool shooting with new-skool control advances to great effect, and if you click play on the video above, you'll see how.

Starseed will come to iPhone and iPad in the near future, so stick with Pocket Gamer and AppSpy for more information as and when we get it.
