Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten (John Lydon) has revealed that he spent £10,000 on three iPad games across a two year period.

Rotten was asked if had made any extravagant purchases in an interview with The Telegraph. To which he replied, "I wasted...10,000 f------ pounds in the last two years on my iPad."

"I got into Game of Thrones, Game of War, Real Racing, and I just wanted to up the ante. And like an idiot I didn’t check myself. I’ve been checked now," Rotten said.

"But there's a kid in me, see? A bit of my childhood was taken from me and I'm determined to bring it back," he added.

Evidently, it's not just young children that get caught up in the lure of IAPs, spending thousands of pounds on one game. Adults and, yes, even punk icons do, too.
