Every once in a while we'll have a game like MiniDrivers land at Pocket Gamer HQ. A game in which we find something very likeable, marred by other aspects of the title.

The racing in MiniDrivers is enjoyable, the free-to-play structure is very generous too, and it's an ambitious project that should be commended for attempting to do so much.

But the collision physics are a bit off, which makes racing in the middle of a pack of drivers a frustrating experience where you'll always come off worse. The visuals and sound cut corners too, and thought they're not horrid by any means, they're basic in comparison to other mobile racers.

MiniDrivers is from Ivanovich Games and comes to iOS this Thursday the 12th of March.
