Koi - Journey of a fish promises a pleasant (and sometimes perilous) adventure for iOS
I'm a little orange fish in a big koi pond
Chinese publisher Lwan has let us know that it's bringing relaxing aquatic adventure Koi - Journey of a fish to iOS soon.
It has you playing as a small fish in a vibrant koi pond. The idea is to swim around, acquiring little fish friends, and collecting the glowing parts of water flowers.
Pleasant, right? And the soundtrack you can preview in the trailer above ensures it'll be a relaxing experience too. I especially like how the water ripples when you touch it.
But this peace won't last. As you can also see in that trailer, there's a large red-eyed fish that'll hunt you. It seems to arrive once you swim around darker waters.
Then, it follows you back to the bright light of the koi pond, trying to break you apart from your friends. Nasty thing. Hopefully it will be a welcome challenge rather than ruin the game's serene presentation.
