Update March 29th, 3:05 PM: Well, hush my words, it looks like Kami 2's eagerly sprung onto iOS a wee bit early.

Grab it on the App Store now free-to-play.

Updated March 29th, 9:36 AM: It's been confirmed this morning that we will in fact be seeing Kami 2 arriving on iOS tomorrow.

Though they'd kept the release under wraps to keep things secret and surprising, now the cat's out of the bag. There are over a hundred new puzzles on the cards, as well as a builder for you to design and share your own creations. If your designs are really good, State of Play will curate them into a new Daily Challenge mode.

Like we expected the game is free-to-play, with the only IAP being hints. The experience is totally advert and paywall-free.

Kami 2 hits out on iPhone and iPad tomorrow, March 30th.

After soft-launching in Australia and New Zealand in December last year, we've been waiting to hear news of Kami 2. However, we may potentially be seeing it on iOS as soon as this Thursday.
On Twitter this afternoon, State of Play Games shared a link to an Apple Store event based in Regent Street, London, this Thursday 30th.

"Join the co-founder, developers, and minds behind Lumino City for the launch of their newest game Kami 2. Discover more about the story and creative process that inspired the beautifully-crafted world of puzzles. Then you'll get a chance to build your own puzzles in Kami 2 along with the developers."

Whilst this doesn't 100% confirm that the game will be launching this Thursday, it's entirely possible that it could well be available on the App Store later this week.

Whatever happens, we'll keep you updated.
