Assassin's Creed Memories is a free to play card battling RPG out now on iOS

Framed by the franchise's fictional Abstergo Entertainment and its new, mobile Animus, Assassin's Creed Memories lets you take control of history's best assassins - on the go!

You can download it now from the App Store for free.

Assassin's Creed Memories spans several time periods, a mix of familiar eras and some all-new ones, including imperial Mongolia and feudal Japan.

The game itself is a combination of role-playing strategy and card battler.

From Renaissance Italy to Colonial America and beyond, you'll collect cards for Weapons, Armor, and Allies, using all three to customize your playstyle and become history's greatest assassin.

Multiplayer options allow you to dive into guild battles featuring up to 20 vs. 20 players.

Our preview of the game from July said it will "please fans looking for a casual menu-based RPG and card battler," but, "with the timers and shallow missions on offer, it's clear that it's meant as just [a] time sink.

Assassin's Creed Memories is free to play, with Abstergo Credits used as the in-game currency. Download it for free from the App Store.
