Developer David Gohara has got in touch to tell us about the next update to iPhone pet game iGotchi, and it sounds pretty good.

v1.1.3 of the game will feature a redesigned user interface, and more items in the in-game iGotchi Store.

There'll also be the first set of new mini-games and activities for your pet, as well as new ways to interact with the little fella via your touchscreen.

Plus, there's the now traditional bug fixes. Well, you can't leave those out of an iPhone update.

Having moaned about iPhone games getting spurious updates before, it's good to see games like iGotchi adding new features in this way.

The game is clearly evolving according to the feedback of its players, so we'll be interested to see how this continues in the coming months.

Look out for v1.1.3 in the App Store in the next week or two.
