A match-3 Tetris clone should be flexible, and Thumbstar Games know this all too well.

Its Flexis game - originally released for mobile - added a physics engine to the classic puzzler, adding a new dimension to the gameplay.

And now Thumbstar has brought the game to iPhone in the form of iFlexis.

Blocks fall from the top and it's your job to spin and place them such that three or more of the same coloured blocks touch.

Pieces don't slot perfectly into each other, however, and can be placed at all sorts of angles in a messy heap.

The game comes with five main gameplay modes - Classic, Elimination, Challenge, Marathon and Panic - ranging over 50 levels.

If you're looking for a fresh spin on the Tetris genre, you might want to give this a shot.

iFlexis is available from the App Store for 99c / 59p / €0.79.
