PlayMesh harvests 1 million downloads with iFarm

It would seem the world has gone virtual farming mad.
Within ten days of its release, iFarm has amassed over 1 million downloads, bringing developer PlayMesh's total downloads of all its games to ten million and a player community of half that.
The app is free, so revenue will come from the virtual items said to be arriving soon. We assume this will include rare decorations and other goods to help make your smallholding stand out, much like in other similar games.
It will be interesting to see how things pan out if and when Zynga and other giants of the social gaming industry step in with their versions.
