iFishing on the line for iPhone

After the unparalleled success of the iPhone's mini-games (such as iGolf and iBowl), it's no wonder we're starting to see similar pick-up-and-play casual titles starting to appear.

Latest in the line is Rocking Pocket Games' (of Blue Skies fame) iFishing. The name pretty much speaks for itself, but the official site suggests a reasonably in-depth experience.

Hunting down a variety of underwater prey with your trusty rod, you'll be required to change your line, lure and drag to best match the fish you're chasing; including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, black crappie, perch, walleye, pike, and even musky.

Currently in development (with a small hint toward the developer's next game, Rocking Pocket Racing) you can fish for more news as it lands by hooking the 'Track It!' button.
