Tapulous releases tilt physics iPhone game Zoo Rescue
What Tap Tap did next
Tapulous made its reputation on its many Tap Tap Revenge rhythm-action games, which - thanks to official releases for the likes of Coldplay and Lady GaGa, and the free generic versions - have done tens of millions of iPhone downloads.
Snce the company got bought by Disney in June, we've all been interested to see what it will come up with next.
It's Zoo Rescue.
Endangered speciesIt's a nice game, though certainly not anything we haven't seen before.
You control a helicopter, tilting to move it left and right and tapping on the screen to get it to rise, using up some of your limited gas supply in the process.
Your goal in the 20 missions is to fly down in various tricky valleys and rescue the animals stuck at the bottom with your dangly physics rope. Once connected, you try to bring them up to safety without running out of fuel, or hitting the sides.
Along the way, you'll get to pick up coins and health and fuel power-ups, while avoiding hurricanes and other obstacles.
Your scores can be compared via Game Center.
Zoo Rescue is out now, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p.
