Zoo Lasso escapes onto the iPhone

Action and puzzle are two genres you wouldn't think go hand in hand, but developer Launching Pad Games has decided to go against the genre grain with its first app, Zoo Lasso.
Like in many a film, the zoo animals have escaped and are presumably wreaking havoc in the neighboring area. Your job is to round up the rampaging lions, monkeys, and zebras by drawing a lasso round them. The better you do, the better the score which should keep you coming back.
"The simple act of drawing lassos with your finger around different animals is about as intuitive as you can get. And when you couple that with some frantic score-based gameplay that will keep you coming back for one more turn, you get something special," says Tristan Clark, a co-founder of Launching Pad Games.
Included are eleven ranks to battle your way up through, a leaderboard using OpenFeint technology, catchy music (according to the developer), 11 different areas and some rather nice looking graphics as you can see in the screenshots.
