If there is one thing that the world of mobile gaming needs more of it's zombie themed games. If there is another, it would be Temple Run clones.

We're being scarcastic...

Enter Zombies Runner (not to be confused with Zombies Parkour Runner or Zombies, Run!), a new endless runner that brings a substantial amount of bloodshed and gore to the running genre in a manner rather reminiscent of Glu's combat driving game - also out this week - Mutant Roadkill.

Zombies Runner places players in the role of a gun-totting survivor of the zombie apocalypse who alternatively flees from, and guns down, the restless dead.

Zombies were people, too!

The game’s main goal is to collect money as you run through levels. This money can be used to purchase weapons and props, as indicated by the colourful language of the game’s official description:

"Although, fleeing guy is really a coward. Then why not run away in a handsome way, you are fashionista, remember? Collect weapons and kill zombies all along your road, do some street cleaning by the way, just like a hardworking dustman… lol, you are great!"

For those who can’t get enough of zombies or over-the-shoulder runners, Zombies Runner can be purchased for 99c/69p.

In-app purchases of cash (99c/69p for $2,000) are available, but multiple purchases will be required to afford most of the guns in the game, which hover between $11,000 and $18,000.
