We picked up on the exciting news of Zombie Mansion's development back at the beginning of October, and have been watching its progress since.

The first person shooter is still very much an unrepresented genre on the iPhone, so we have high hopes for the zombie-blasting escapades of Source IT Software's first app.

Beginning in Hell (the cellar of the mansion) your task is to claw your way up through the five levels, collecting keys and power ups as you fend off the hordes of flesh hungry zombies out to make a meal of you.

Zombie Mansion promises hidden rooms, ten different types of monster to fight and 'hours and hours' of gameplay within the huge mansion.

Hit the 'Buy It!' button to check it out at the App Store, and stay close for more coverage as we get it.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
