Fancy a relaxing DS dip in Game Factory's Zenses Ocean?

It's getting to the stage where we're beginning to wonder if there's any quirk of life that can't be fixed by the DS - dementia, life issues, language learning, improved eye sight all seem be to covered - and now the Zenses range of games from The Games Factory offers 'active escape' from the pressures of life.

No, it's not a vial of crack but "the perfect 'me time' companion," which consists of a series of puzzle games themed around a particular Zenses' location.

For example in Zenses Ocean, the six touchscreen-only mini-games, and the accompanying audio, will be based around the movements of the tide, rippling water, corals, beach vegetation and sea life. Working names for these include the likes of Hot Spot, Shell Twirl, Turtle Turn, Pearl Diver and Wave Breaker, while looking at the screenshots suggests they will be a mixture of Match 3 puzzles and simple item manipulation.

Zenses Rainforest has also been announced, and both games are being developed at Shin'en, a German outfit best known for its Nanostray hardcore shoot-'em series. The audio for each will be made freely available for download via the Game Factory website too.

Zenses: Ocean and Rainforest editions are due for release in October.
