Zenonia now available for Windows Mobile
Korean RPG exploring new territory
Korean mobile games publisher Gamevil has announced that it has released Zenonia onto the Windows Mobile Marketplace.
The sprawling action RPG has already been a considerable success on mobile in its home country and on iPhone elsewhere. As our own Tracy Erickson put it, “Zenonia taps into the spirit of 16-bit role-playing with gameplay rooted in simple action and straightforward character development”.
The sequel, Zenonia 2: Lost Memories, is currently doing big business on Korean mobile phones, with 200,000 downloads in the first month. This is all the more impressive given its $4 premium price.
Now seems like a good time to expand the popular franchise into new areas.
Windows Mobile 6.5 launched yesterday, complete with Microsofts own attempt at an app store, Windows Marketplace for Mobile.
