Retro fighter Zombieworld: Apocalypse lumbering toward iPhone

Fighting games rock, so it's always good to hear that another developer is attempting to breach this particularly difficult iPhone genre.

Slash Casual is ramping up the action with its forthcoming 2D scrolling cartoon fighter Zombieworld: Apocalypse, which as you've undoubtedly gleaned form the title involves beating up a horde of imaginative undead enemies.

The team is apparently considering a kind of public beta test of Zombieworld: Apocalypse by initially releasing a Lite version that you'll be encouraged to provide feedback on, with suggestions and bug fixes going into the full version. Pretty capital idea, really.

We'll keep an eye on Slash Casual and Zombieworld: Apocalypse and keep you posted on its progress. In the meantime, check out the eye candy screenshots and let us know what you think in the comments below.
