Bigger, better Yu-Gi-Oh!

More cards and modes as World Championship Tournament 2006 edition is announced

Bigger, better Yu-Gi-Oh!

When it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh!, size matters. And that’s why the enormously named Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters – World Championship Tournament 2006 is also the biggest Yu-Gi-Oh! game ever.

Featuring more than 2,000 cards, including the latest Structure decks from the trading card game and the first appearance of cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX universe (based on the new television series), the game will give you lots more options.

Building on the classic strategies of using traps, monsters and spells, the cards will enable you to create more complex attack and defensive moves.

But you won’t just get more cards – there will be new game modes too. The Duel Puzzle mode will challenge you to complete missions in only one turn, while the Limited Duel mode will reduce the number and type of cards you can have in your deck, as well as the available moves. Finally, the Theme Duel mode can only be completed if you can satisfy certain battle conditions, such as activating ten traps, or causing 10,000 or more points of battle damage during a duel.

Offering a single player mode as well as the option of taking on a friend if you have a link cable, Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters – World Championship Tournament 2006 will also come with three limited edition official trading cards from the new GX universe.
