Xperia Play available on Pay As You Go for £154.99

Someone hit the reset button on the price

Product: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play | Manufacturer: Sony Ericsson

That didn’t take long. It's only been a few hours since we last reported on an Xperia Play price cut, and it's already tumbled another £20: you can now pre-order a T-Mobile Xperia Play from retailer Chitter Chatter for just £154.99 with £5 free credit on top, undercutting Argos significantly.

The price of the Xperia Play handset has been in free-fall over the last few weeks. Given that most modern Android handsets sell for more than £300 and sometimes £400, the Xperia Play must be starting to look fairly tempting even to those not interested in playing games.

Being a T-Mobile handset, the phone is on Pay As You Go with that network. If you're not a T-Mobile customer and don't want to become one, paying an extra £20 for an unlocked Xperia Play through Argos may not be a bad idea.
