Sony Ericsson: Xperia Play owners pay for games more than other phone users

More than 75 percent of people who download games for their Xperia Play are paying for full price titles, according to Sony Ericsson.
"It's reversing a trend of a majority not paying for games,” said Dominic Neil-Dwyer, Sony Ericsson's head of marketing development, in an interview with business website Bloomberg at Gamescom in Germany.
Neil-Dwyer's comments suggest the phone attracts a more 'hardcore' element of the gaming community, in contrast with the conventional perception of smartphone gamers, who appear largely reluctant to pay traditional prices for traditional games, preferring instead very cheap and freemium casual games.
