Gameloft will be adding its Xperia Play-optimised titles to the Android Market from now on, having previously restricted them to its own store.

Calibri;mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-latin;background:white">“This is in reference to future Android HD titles,” Gameloft told Pocket Gamer. “If the Xperia Play is supported for them then they'll be available through the Android Market as well as our store.

Calibri;mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-latin;background:white">“Xperia Play versions of our back catalogue of games already on the Android Market will be added on a case-by-case basis, providing the game is available for the device.”

Effectively, this means that customers will have the choice to register with just one supplier - the Android Market. This will be a relief for anyone who doesn’t buy Gameloft games very often or doesn’t want to split their credit card details between multiple companies.
