X2 Snowboarding BASE sliding onto iPhone this Friday

If the summer heat is getting to be a bit too much for you, then you can cool down with the new release from X2 Games.

X2 Snowboarding BASE is a free way to play the existing version of X2 Snowboarding, which is already available on the App Store for £1.19.

Said to be substantially different from the X2 Snowboarding School Demo, as well as the existing X2 Snowboarding, this freemium download essentially retains the same gameplay as before as you career down snowy slopes and perform tricks to fill up your power meter, all to a superb soft electronic soundtrack. There’s also opportunity for character customisations and upgrades.

The download contains two tracks, two characters, and two board designs from the full version, and in-game purchases (priced at 59p each) mean you can buy additional content to suit your gaming experience. You can also compete online in multiplayer matches over Bluetooth and wi-fi.

You should be able to download X2 Snowboarding BASE from the App Store from this Friday.
