Have you got Worms? Or is just the way you're fidgeting in your chair?

Well, if you're not fortunate enough to have the warlike worms wriggling around on your iPhone yet, Team17 has come up with a new way to get you dangling on the turn-based fighting hook.

Worms Express has just gone live on the App Tackle Shop, which is kind of like the usual free Lite version, except this one's slightly heavier than normal and isn't free.

For 59p you get a more immediate Worms experience on your iPhone, consisting of two single-player maps (Hell and Hawaii), 12 different challenges and three difficulty levels.

It doesn't sound as though the forthcoming multiplayer updates or 3GS enhancements will be issued to Worms Express in the future, but anyone just looking for a taste of dirt eating, chewy worm-flesh now has a cheaper option before testing out the premium Worms.

Paid Lite version: Good or bad? Please discuss.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
