Worms Crazy Golf tees off for mobile

What could be crazier than a bunch of pink invertebrates playing mini-golf? Why, a bunch of pink invertebrates playing mini-golf with grenades, of course.

Worms Crazy Golf is that game, and it's coming out for mobile next month, courtesy of THQ Wireless. The aim is to hit grenades towards the hole, to blow up an enemy worm who's tied to the flag. You don't see that in the Ryder Cup.

The game will have three courses of nine holes each, with the second and third courses being unlocked if you complete a round below par. Up to four players will be able to compete using a pass-the-handset multiplayer mode, and there's two difficulty settings.

Are these worms crazy? With names like Snow Joke, Clowning A-Round and Fairway To Heaven, we'll let you decide.

Click 'Track It' to be sent a (non-explosive) missive when we get our hands on the game.
