Mobile Top Up tells us its most anticipated Xbox games for 2016
For: Windows Phone
With a spectacular year boasting several great video games already behind us, the expectations for 2016 are high. There are already a number of release dates announced in 2016 for some hugely promising games, and we can’t wait. Here are some of the games we're looking forward to in 2016!
Release: March 25, 2016
During the ceremony of The Game Awards 2015 Telltale announced that they will launch a Batman game in 2016. It seems that this developer just can’t stop turning our favourite formulas into great games. Telltale is known for games such as The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. So we wonder what this game holds for us!
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Release: August 23, 2016
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The game is set in 2029, two years after Human Revolution. In 2029, mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Adam Jensen, the main character, must try to re-connect everyone. If you’ve never played one of the other Deus Ex games you should try one before Mankind Divided releases! Xbox Live gives you the possibility to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution for two weeks, you just need an Xbox Live Subscription to do this.
Final Fantasy XV
Release: Somewhere in 2016
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a proper Final Fantasy game to be excited about, so the expectations for FF XV are high. The game has been in development for quite a while. Work began in 2006, when it was still called Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Final Fantasy XV is based on Fabula Nova Crystallis - a crystal mythology. The game will be much darker than previous Final Fantasy games and is more focused on action.
Release: February 9, 2016
You probably know EA as the huge company behind FIFA and Battlefield, but Unravel is something very different (it reminds us of the popular game LittleBigPlanet). Unravel tells a story of Yarny and re-connecting the memories of a long lost family. Yarny is the bond that ties everything together, because everywhere he goes he leaves a red thread - hence the name.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst
Release: May 26, 2016
Fans have been asking for a new Mirror’s Edge game for years, and it’s finally (almost) here. Mirror's Edge Catalyst keeps much of what made the original a hit, but there are different new extras. In this game you will see how the main character Faith has become the badass chick who she is today. Faith is a runner - kind of a cool spy - who executes different assignments of big companies in Glass City. In the game you will have a lot of freedom to reach your goals. We can’t wait to play this game in May.
Have you placed a pre-order for a game? And which game are you looking forward to?
