According to website ePrice, Samsung Taiwan has confirmed that a Windows Phone 8 Apollo-powered smartphone is in the works for the second half of this year.

Windows Phone 8 isn't being rolled out by Microsoft until October, so - if this rumour turns out to be true - you won't see a new Samsung device until then, at the least.

Samsung has produced Windows Phone-powered handsets in the past, but is more commonly known for its range of Android handsets like the Galaxy S II and Note.
