Microsoft confirms Minecraft - Pocket Edition will be coming to Windows Phone

Microsoft said last week when the news was announced that Minecraft - Pocket Edition and the upcoming Vita version wouldn't be affected by its acquisition.

Microsoft is set to complete the Mojang deal by the end of the year, so it's likely to be around then, or just after.

If you want to get blindly excited, though, Microsoft France's marketing manager Omer Waysman teased a big title coming to Windows Phone this week.
