WP7 Doodle Jump clone Doodle Tower vanishes, reappears as Birdy Bounce

Developer Mod Monkeys recently pulled its game Doodle Tower from the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace, presumably because it bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain popular iPhone title called Doodle Jump.

Aftera brief absence, Doodle Tower has now returned as Birdy Bounce.

The game has you using accelerometer control to tilt a bouncing bird up an endless sequence of algorithm-generated platforms.

There are moving platforms, deadly spiked platforms, treacherous crumbling platforms, and so on, with platform placement getting more fiendish the higher you climb towards a high score. None of which will be a surprise to iPhone owners.

Birdy Bounce is out for 79p on the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace now.
