Microsoft has dropped us a line to say that a new Must Have Games season kicks off on Windows Phone next week, bringing a number of exclusives and popular iOS titles over to the Xbox Live-enabled platform.

The season begins on February 1st with EA's Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, which should be familiar to iPhone and Android owners.

There are 48 events to take part in, spread across both sides of law and disorder (racer), and 20 high-powered vehicles to screech around in.

BulletTime

The first of the exclusives, BulletAsylum, hits the Windows Phone platform the following week, followed by Chicken's Can't Fly and Gameloft's Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp rounds off the month's Must Have games selection, with its shooting gallery gameplay inspired by the home console series of the same name.

Full list of Must Have games follows:

February 1st: Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (£3.99)
February 8th: BulletAsylum (£2.49)
February 15th: Chickens Can't Fly (£2.49)
February 22nd: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction (£3.99)
February 29th: Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp (£2.49)
