Gameloft has announced that it will be supporting the newly released Windows Marketplace for Mobile by releasing 11 new games onto the service.

Windows Maketplace for Mobile, which is part of the just-released Windows Mobile 6.5, sees Microsoft joining the app store war that has thus-far been dominated by arch rivals Apple.

Here’s the list of games:

Asphalt 4: Elite
Racing Ferrari GT: Evolution
Real Football 2010
Spider-Man: Toxic City
Prince of Persia
Gangstar 2: Kings of L.A
UNO
Texas Hold'Em Poker

NFL 2010 and The Oregon Trail will also be released in the US and Canada, taking the count to ten. We're not sure where the 11th title got to.

The games will be available for all touchscreen, 3D-capable WinMo devices such as the HTC Touch Pro 2, the Toshiba Tsunagi and the Acer F1.

"We support Windows Marketplace for Mobile, which offers a new digital distribution channel for Gameloft titles and represents an additional window for users searching for digital entertainment," said Gameloft President Michel Guillemot.
