If you're looking for an elegant, challenging, gorgeous-looking mixture of hidden object and puzzle game, then you could do worse than look in the direction of Micro Macro's Morphopolis.
This garden-based game is out right now for iOS, Android, Windows 8, Windows Phone, Kindle, and BlackBerry, you see. And the tale of transformation and nature at its heart is an intriguing one, indeed.
You play a series of insects shuffling along blades of grass, matching pollen sacks on flowers, and avoiding the snapping jaws of angry beetles.
It's a sedate and calming experience that's unlike anything else on smartphones or tablets, as you can see in the trailer below.
I went hands-on with the game a while back. In my preview, I said: "The intriguing mixture of genres and ideas results in a heady blend that has a whiff of real originality about it."
There are 25 hidden object sets, 16 scenes, and a number of different mini-puzzles for you to try and solve here.
