Everyone's got an opinion on the US presidential election, whether you're eligible to vote or not. The race between Barack Obama and John McCain is being followed avidly around the world.
With that in mind, developer David Dennis is one smart cookie. Why? He's turned the whole shebang into an iPhone strategy game, timed to capitalise on election fever in the US and elsewhere.

It's called WhiteHouse, and it lets you take control of Obama or McCain (or even Hillary Clinton) in the presidential campaign. You'll be responding to news events, speaking ta rallies, raising cash and buying advertising, amongst others.

It's not just been whacked together cheaply, either. The game uses statistical models from the Pew Research Center for the People & Press, as well as data from the Almanac of American Politics.

Apart from the disappointing lack of a moose-hunting mini-game starring Sarah Palin, it sounds like the ideal iPhone game for political junkies.

WhiteHouse is available now on the App Store for £3.49, and you can buy it by clicking the 'Buy It' button below.
