Astraware has announced a Symbian port of its Westward game, meaning that people with Series 60 and UIQ smartphones get to join in the Wild West action.

The game was released earlier this year for Palm and Windows Mobile devices, and is based on a popular PC casual game of the same name.

What's it about? Well, you have to conquer the Wild West by building towns, exploring the surrounding countryside, and ensuring your settlers don't get wiped out.

That means four locations and more than 20 levels, with environmental disasters like fire and drought, and a nefarious bad guy called The Mad Russian, who you have to catch.

The new Symbian version is out now, and can be bought for $19.95 from Astraware's website.
