A mobile port of the roguelike Windows game WazHack has slashed its way onto the Google Play Store. What's more: it's free.

In this side-scrolling adventure from Australian developer Waz, you tiptoe around a giant procedurally generated dungeon attempting to make your way to the bottom.

Unsurprisingly, given its roguelike influence, WazHack contains every hardcore gamer's favourite gameplay element... permadeath. If the thought of that gives you nightmares, have no fear: time only moves forward while the player does.

Some RPG tropes rear their head in WazHack, too, meaning you can customise your character and deal death with a blade or don your cloak and do your best (ideally worst) Rincewind impression.

WazHack is available now for free for Android [download]. Check out the gameplay video below before you leave.
