Capcom sends Warriors of Fate mobile game into battle

Capcom has announced that Warriors of Fate will be the first of three titles it plans to release exclusively on the 3 network this October.

Warriors of Fate is set in an era of ceaseless warfare, when feuding Chinese Emperors clash at the dawn of the Time of Three Kingdoms. (Does this remind anyone else of the Wii-Xbox360-PlayStation 3 next gen console war?)

You play as one of three warriors, each of which has a different fighting style, as well as special moves. Wrestles, throws and crushes back up the more usual punches, kicks, hacks and slashes, while weapons will include swords, hammers, bows and fire bombs. You can even mount a warhorse for extra power.

The game will comprise five levels across a variety of settings, such as a forest, palace and even aboard a ship, plus bonus stages.

We're also promised a rich story line with multiple endings, and epic boss battles. Perhaps not as big as Microsoft's Peter Moore versus Sony's Ken Kutaragi, but the next best thing.
