Portable console fans of OTT, high-energy wrestling action should be delighted to hear that THQ will be releasing WWE All Stars on 3DS in November.

According to the company's press release, "WWE All Stars will take WWE action to the next dimension with fun, fluid, and furious arcade-style gameplay in a handheld format, complete with 3D graphics capabilities and two exclusive modes."

This pair of exclusive modes are Gauntlet - in which players battle against every WWE Superstar on the roster - and Score Scramble - in which players must meet specified scoring criteria.

And that's the bottom line...

WWE All Stars on 3DS will feature both current-day grapplers, like HHH, The Miz, and Rey Mysterio, and legendary performers, such as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Bret "The Hitman" Hart", and André the Giant.

So, if you can't wait until Wrestlemania XVIII in April 2012 to discover whether The Rock has the edge over John Cena, select Fantasy Warfare Mode in WWE All Stars and find out for yourself in the autumn.

No news yet on price, but WWE All Stars will be making its first in-ring appearance on 3DS in November.
