E3 2008: New WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2009 DS screenshots slam in

What better excuse do you need to release new screenshots of your game than a massive annual games show in Los Angeles? That's obviously what THQ was rightly thinking when it dished out this latest batch of DS images at E3 of WWE superstars getting down and dirty.
WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2009 will be released on DS (and PSP too) this autumn. On DS, it features a new D-pad and stylus control system, a bigger roster of wrestlers and new match types, such as the Steel Cage.
You'll also be able to design your own superstars – a feature which has made it into previous WWE games on other formats – assigning attributes, then testing them out against other angry and sweaty men.
Sounds good to me. Look out for WWE laying the smack down (or whatever the terminology is) on your DS later this year.
