Wingracers is a simple flight simulator for PC, designed for various different VR platforms.

Experienced on the Oculus Rift, this upcoming title replicates the television series, Red Bull Air Race, in both design and experience. Like the series, the game doesn’t depend on how good your plane is - it's about the skill of the pilot (you), and since every plane performs identically there's no way to get to the top of the leader board without harbouring some serious skills.

Though they can't be altered, you're still given the chance to unlock different planes and different pilots for cosmetic purposes. You have eight 'challenger cups' to perfect before you can qualify for the fourteen 'master class' levels, but overall you just play the game for fun.

Focussing highly on the solo/single player-side of things, Wingracers is designed mainly for you to enjoy at your leisure, though there is multiplayer mode. You can download the beta here for free. The release date is so far unknown, but we can expect it sometime in 2017 for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and possible PlayStaton VR.
