The first Oculus' Rift have been shipped ahead of Monday's official launch

On Monday, Oculus will finally see the first customers getting their hands on their Rift after a Kickstarter that started in 2012.

It really did foster a new era for VR after multiple failed attempts and brought life back into the market. It was then followed by HTC, Sony and more as everyone is seemingly trying to develop for VR.

With its launch line-up of thirty games and plenty more coming before the end of the year, it's an exciting time for the industry.

Ahead of its launch on Monday,Oculus has shipped the first Rift, it's seems like those are for Kickstarter backers and consumers. I'd expect a lot of them to end up on people's doorstep next week anyways.

The week after that it's HTC's turn as the Vive should arrive on April 5th.
